Singapore Watercolour Society (SWS) was officially formed
The founding
members are Mr. Chen Chong Swee, Mr. Gog Sing Hooi, Mr. Ho Yee Ping,
Mr. Leng Joon Wong, Mr. Chan Soon Yean, Mr. Chin Chun Wah, Mr. Ong
Chye Cho, Mr. Loy Chye Chuan, Mr. Sim Kwank Teck, Mr. Khor Ean Ghee,
Mr. Lim Cheng Hoe and Mr. Koh Tong Leong.

1st Annual Exhibition at the Victoria Memorial Hall
Opened by Mr
Fong Sip Chee, Parliamentary Secretary Ministry of Culture. A souvenir
magazine was published for the occasion.

of the Watercolour Painting by Mr Khor Ean Ghee, President of the
Society, at The Chinese Chamber of Commerce, opened by Mr Lee Khoo
Choy, Senior Ministry of State for Foreign Affairs.

10th Anniversary Exhibition
In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the formation of Singapore
Watercolour Society an exhibition of works by members was held at
the Chinese Chamber of Commerce. A souvenir magazine of watercolour
paintings by members was published in colour.

Co-sponsored with other art organizations in Singapore.
