President's Message

Dear all visitors,

The Singapore Watercolour Society (SWS) is an organization where artists with acceptable standards are recognized and accredited as members.

For the next two years, we will embark on a new phase of growth to increase Singapore’s international standing in watercolour painting.
We intend to launch programmes to meet the needs of members of SWS and the public.
This will be a platform for learning, developing and polishing of skills for both amateurs and professional watercolour painters.
For the professionals, programmes will be instituted to raise their standards, accrediting them as reputable watercolour artists.  This will increase Singapore’s standing in the watercolour arena.
For the lay public who display an interest in watercolour painting, opportunities will be provided to raise the awareness and standard of watercolour painting in Singapore.
Those who have completed our recognized courses will have the opportunities to become members of SWS if they meet the exacting standards of SWS.

Our mission is to work with both members and the public to make Singapore a vibrant centre for watercolour painting.
