The Privileges of a SWS member

1. The opportunity to exhibit your work in our Annual Exhibition.
2. To expose your profile and work on the Society’s website.
3. Participate in our Outdoor Painting Activities.
4. Participate in Art Talks and Demonstrations conducted by renowned guest artists (local and overseas) for members only.
5. Be recognized as a member of one of the more active art societies in Singapore.
6. Use of the resource library at The Society’s premises in Telok Kurau Studio.
7. A chance to participate in overseas exhibitions under the auspices of the SWS.
8. Participate on painting holidays organized by the SWS.
9. Possible discounted rates for purchases of art supplies from a few Art Suppliers (under negotiation).

Membership Application
You are cordially invited to be a member of SWS. In order for us to process your application, we need the following:

1. A minimum of 3 watercolour paintings for the assessment by the SWS’s Selection Committee. The 3 paintings must be your most recent work.

• The 3 paintings must be submitted to Mr. Marvin Chew,
  HP: 81132851, or any of our committee members.
   

• Size of the paintings should be at least half the size of a standard watercolour paper.

• All paintings will be returned after the assessment.
  

2. You must complete the application form together with a passport-size photograph with your submission of your paintings.

• Application forms can be downloaded from our website or they are available at our Telok Kurau Studio.
