OUTDOOR
PAINTINGS ACTIVITIES
The tradition
of outdoor painting is preserved with Outdoor Paintings Activities.
Professional artists and students will put their brushes to work
under the sun. And because of the high standards of these outdoor
demonstrations, they usually draw a very large crowd.
Students from
various junior colleges and secondary schools are invited to participate.
This activity allows the student to experience the use of the medium
and observe the professional artists at work. It is also an opportunity
for the students to enquire about the love and passion of these
outstanding artists. To encourage the students in the art of watercolour
painting, a small competition usually follows this outdoor demonstration.
Outdoor paintings
activities had been held in the West Coasts Park, the Singapore
River and at the Chinese Gardens.
