Mr. Gog Sing Hooi is one of founding member of the Singapore Watercolour Society. He had influenced many watercolourists with his technical excellence in transparent watercolour painting. His determination and strict adherence to a single medium had stretched his mastery over watercolour, and this is reflected in his paintings. His works had been exhibited in New York, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and other Asean countries.

Even as a recognized landscape artists, he remained the same humble person. He was encouraging and supportive of young members in to the Singapore Watercolour Society.
