Kim Seng, Ong has been a full-time artist since 1985. Besides exhibiting
his works in Singapore, Mr Ong has held group and solo exhibitions in the
United States,Russia, China, United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, Belgium,
Germany, France, the Middle East, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the ASEAN countries.
Kim Seng is the first person outside the United States to have
won six awards from the American Watercolor Society (AWS). The six
awards are the Paul B Remmy Memorial Award (1983), the Lucy B Moore
Award (1988), the Clara Stroud Memorial Award (1989), the Barse
Miller Memorial Award (1992) the Winsor and Newton Award (2000)
and the Ida Wells Stroud Memorial Award (2001). Kim Seng was made
a Dolphin Fellow of the American Watercolour Society in the year
2000. Elected to signature member of the National Watercolor Society
of the USA in 2001. Excellence for Singapore Award 2000. Collections
in the Singapore Art Museum, Neka Museum in Bali ,Maritime Museum
