Bee’s aptitude for art was evident from childhood. She is a self-taught cartoonist and illustrator. In 1998-99 she studied Western Art at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore and attended various short courses at LaSalle-SIA College of the Arts. Along the way, she has also benefited from the guidance of several eminent local artists.

Bee is a versatile artist with a wide repertoire of works, including landscapes, figure drawing and teddy bear paintings. Her art has been exhibited locally and some works are in private collections.
Outdoor painting and life drawing continue to be passionate pursuits. In 2002 she took up post-graduate studies in Art Therapy in Australia.
