He learnt watercolour painting in the United Kingdom under the tutelage of James Fletcher-Watson RI, John Yardley RI and painted with Ken Howard RA in India.He focuses on capturing light effects in townscapes and landscapes, often incorporating figures. He has painted in Venice, India, Morocco, Tunisia, Australia, the United Kingdom and France in the past few years. Currently he teaches watercolours twice a year at Dedham Hall, Essex, United Kingdom. He has held solo exhibitions in the UK, Switzerland and Singapore, and mixed exhibitions in Sydney and the Mall Galleries in London. He is an elected member of the Pure Watercolour Society.
