He learnt watercolours painting in the United Kingdom under the tutelage of John Yardley RI, James Fletcher Watson RI, Ken Howard RA, NEAC. He focuses on capturing light effects in townscapes and landscapes, often incorporating figures. He has painted in India, Morocco, Venice, the United Kingdom and France for the past few years. How, he teaches watercolours at Dedham Hall, Essex, United Kingdom, every March. He has participated in exhibitions in Singapore and in London.
